Bruce Anderson - Author

Bruce has spent a lifetime on and around the water – as a sailor, navigator, musician, and storyteller. Off the Wind: Hitchhiking the Pacific by Sailboat is his true story of adventure, discovery, and the people who shaped him along the way.

Bruce resides in Vancouver, BC, Canada, with his wife, Gerry, and their two grown daughters, Lauren and Charlotte. He recently retired. He was a software designer and developer and the founder of various companies both in Canada and Australia.

Bruce is an avid boater, both power and sail, and enjoys the glorious cruising waters near his home in Vancouver, Canada.

Bruce also plays tenor saxophone in the Hudson Street Jazz Orchestra.

He has not told this story in full to anyone - not even his wife or daughters - for over 45 years, until now.
